ROLE: Business Support Specialist, Retail SME
LOCATION: Dublin South/Central - : Dame Street, D2 or Cornelscourt, D18, and may include a level of remote working if desired
This role is being offered on a Permanent basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In Retail SME, our purpose is to be the trusted partner that backs our Customers, enabling and empowering the Businesses in our Community to prosper. The Dublin South & Central is a dynamic team that works together to drive business in the Dublin South & Central local market. A vacancy exists for a Business Support on the team. The role holder will provide support to the team ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all tasks to assist in the delivery of team objectives to grow and manage the portfolio while achieving the agreed plans and metrics required under performance and risk.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:
*Ensure all customer queries are responded to within 24 hours in accordance with the AIB behaviours. *Complete all administration activities and day to day Banking activities as assigned. *Support the BA role in the new money applications from attendance at meeting where required to completion of elements of the application and customer interaction. *Ensure that all Credit Excellence and Operational Excellence tasks as assigned are actioned within a timely manner and to the required standard. *Foster open communication and work to maximise team effort and contribution. *Work with BA to maximise the opportunity from the Business portfolios and consistently seek out opportunity for the Advisory Teams both in terms of product sales and new to bank opportunities *Work to ensure that the Local Market team provides a consistent quality service to all SME customers so that Service becomes a key differentiator between AIB and the competition which facilitates additional business opportunity and product penetration. *Complete all required activities to ensure that the customer's funds can be drawn down quickly and without delay while adhering to all approvals, PDRA processes and other required actions. *Ensure that all fulfilment and post credit decision activities are completed in full for new money cases greater than a specified threshold.

*Proven experience in a similar role *Credit competence and experience *Broad sectoral understanding *Minimum requirement of APA Loans and APA Savings & Investments. QFA preferable. *Understanding and knowledge of all relevant systems including NBP, NAPS, FDCT, CMS, Excel, Microsoft Dynamics
