General Description of Position:
This position is responsible for deposits, transfers, depository account reconciliations, and processing of student tuition payments and refunds. Manages and reconciles specific third party accounts.
Major Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage all returned ACH and NSF returned payments.
• Reconcile all manual book accounts from house accounts, scholarships, or sponsors.
• Process transcripts.
• Review refund report daily.
• Run credit report weekly and reconcile credit balances.
• Serve on committees as necessary.
• Process invoice requests and post payments for Career Coaching and Employer Connection
(CCEC) projects
• Help students with Touchnet payment plans and Bank Mobile questions.
• Process employee fee remission.
• Provides backup assistance for: entering and performing compliance for orders in the Ivy Tech procurement system and travel system while ensuring College fiscal policies are being adhered to.
• Process & assist with collecting employee advances
• Perform other related duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices
Position Summary: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform business office-related duties.
• Answering phones and providing customer service.
• Balance and maintain cash drawer.
• Accepts payments for student tuition and fees and processes receipts.
• Processes payments/refunds for drop/adds.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Bursar and Director of Cash Management.
Position reports to: Bursar
The above listed functions require various degrees of independence, judgment and discretion, and the ability to be mobile in the office and/or work area. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Two years of experience in related field required
• Must have highly developed organizational skills and computer experience
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required.

Associates degree preferred
