The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
• 8 years of experience in commercial transactional and real estate law • Strong knowledge of current real estate market • Experience in the sale, purchase, and development of commercial properties and projects • Experience in financing and secured transactions • Experience in title review, construction and permitting, and negotiation of commercial leases • Experience in corporate planning and structure, tax planning for real estate transactions, and environmental considerations • Experience in formation and representation of condo associations • Experience in drafting and negotiating agreements • Attention to detail and ability to handle significant and complicated transactions • Creative and practical approach to legal issues
Responsibilities
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial transactional and real estate matters • Advise clients on real estate market trends and implications for their business • Assist clients with the sale, purchase, and development of commercial properties and projects • Handle financing and secured transactions for clients • Review titles and assist with construction and permitting for clients • Negotiate commercial leases on behalf of clients • Assist clients with corporate planning and structure, tax planning for real estate transactions, and environmental considerations • Form and represent condo associations for clients • Draft and negotiate agreements on behalf of clients
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school • Licensed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin • 8 years of experience in commercial transactional and real estate law • Strong knowledge of current real estate market • Experience in the sale, purchase, and development of commercial properties and projects • Experience in financing and secured transactions • Experience in title review, construction and permitting, and negotiation of commercial leases • Experience in corporate planning and structure, tax planning for real estate transactions, and environmental considerations • Experience in formation and representation of condo associations • Experience in drafting and negotiating agreements • Attention to detail and ability to handle significant and complicated transactions • Creative and practical approach to legal issues
