Law Firm Seeking Business Intelligence Analyst with Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

Taft, a premier law firm with over 1,000 attorneys and 1,775 team members, is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Accounting team in one of our various offices across the Midwest.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our firm's accounting systems and implementing new business intelligence and reporting tools. You will work independently and as part of a high-performing team to provide valuable insights and data to stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality of client and firm matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support various modules of the LMS application and ancillary systems, serving as a front-line resource for questions and issues. - Design, review, and distribute regular monthly reports using Sequel and Excel. - Gather and analyze data for ad-hoc requests, utilizing SQL views and scripts. - Prepare data for annual Partner Participation compensation review. - Maintain database security groups and ensure efficient design and maintenance of reports. - Collaborate with billing staff and IT to ensure proper setup and maintenance of billing rate overrides and electronic billing arrangements. - Provide support for all financial systems and maintain internal controls and audit trail documentation. - Utilize expertise in Firm systems to support day-to-day operations of the Accounting team. - Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail in collecting, organizing, and presenting information. - Clean and filter data to correct code problems. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 3 years of relevant work experience. - In-depth knowledge of accounting systems and reporting. - Experience with complex database queries and reporting using SQL and Business Intelligence tools. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as Power Query, pivot tables, and macros. - Experience in a professional services law firm preferred.
Education and Experience:
