Business Immigration Consultant (Experienced Paralegal) - Law Firm - Boston

Job Description:
The Law Firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team as a Business Immigration Consultant. As a Business Immigration Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of employment-based immigration matters in a dynamic and challenging atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Perform substantive and client-facing work, including case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies - Oversee case progress and utilize case management and billing systems - Work with clients to troubleshoot issues and establish case strategy - Generate clear, well-organized written work product - Communicate with foreign nationals and clients regarding case status - Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress to supervisor - Assist in hiring and training new team members - Proactively identify ways to improve team productivity - Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration policy - Utilize case management and reporting tools - Contribute to team and individual productivity goals - Follow firm standards and policies to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or Paralegal certificate with 4 years of business immigration experience - Bachelor's degree with 3 years of business immigration experience - Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for nonimmigrant and immigrant visas - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in MS Word and Excel - Desire to contribute to a positive work environment
