Job Title: Business Development and Marketing Specialist - Labor and Employment Experience: 4 years in legal or professional services industry Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 Department: Labor & Employment Reports to: Senior Department Marketing Manager

Core Responsibilities: • Develop a thorough understanding of the Department's practice groups, attorneys, competition and client base. • Support the execution of marketing and business development initiatives, programs, events and activities for the Department and its Practice Groups. • Assist with RFP and pitch response strategy and the creation of materials. • Coordinate and support the development, execution and follow-up of internal and client-facing events and webinars. • Collaborate with the firm's PR team to advance profile-raising efforts within target markets. • Conduct market research and gather industry information. • Partner and collaborate with other firm administrative departments for project completion. • Draft and project manage select directory submissions and other rankings. • Support lateral attorney orientation and onboarding. • Monitor, track and collaborate with attorneys on knowledge/experience management efforts. • Assist with the marketing budget. • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • 4 years of relevant work experience in legal or professional services industry • Legal marketing experience • Driven towards excellence and a strong sense of professionalism • Excellent project management skills • Strong communication skills • Detail-oriented, organized, professional, innovative, strategic, process-driven, accountable, entrepreneurial, collaborative, flexible, and accommodating • Strong comfort level with technology • Demonstrated client service excellence
