Business Development and Corporate Communications Manager - Frankfurt, Germany
Introduction:
Join our team in Frankfurt as a Business Development and Corporate Communications Manager and help us promote our law firm's brand and expand our presence in the German market. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious team, and play a key role in driving our business development and marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the partnership to deliver business development and marketing activities, including supporting individual partners or group initiatives, events, and campaigns. Create and manage marketing collateral, ensuring consistency with our firm's brand and style. Work with the wider business development team to access support and best practices for German business development objectives. Manage and track budgets for business development activities. Oversee the relationship with and activities of the external marketing communications agency. Develop and implement a communications and brand strategy, and create high-quality content for our website, social media, press releases, newsletters, and event invitations. Support the creation and implementation of business development and marketing plans, in alignment with firm strategies. Champion client listening and insights, and ensure consistently excellent client experience in line with our Client Experience Charter. Prepare legal directory and awards submissions, and communicate national and international rankings. Manage the CRM database and provide training and guidance to PAs and lawyers. Provide accurate reporting and identify opportunities for business development and growth. Research and present on market trends, hot topics, and target clients. Manage and support client relationship management. Contribute to client pitches, bids, and presentations. Attend and contribute to sector meetings. Support conferences, seminars, and other external events. Procure marketing collateral and giveaways. Support the wider business development team as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the legal sector or professional services environment. Proven track record of successfully driving and managing key business development campaigns. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Team player with a positive attitude and strong advocacy for the firm's values. Experience in dealing with and influencing senior stakeholders, particularly partners. Ability to build and maintain client relationships. Commercial awareness and understanding of clients' needs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.
