Law Firm Seeking Business Development Manager for Private Equity Group in New York Location: New York Job ID: 9862
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients - Plan and coordinate business development-related meetings and travel - Identify new opportunities for client growth - Create and implement business development and marketing plans - Stay updated on industry trends and developments - Provide guidance to attorneys on pitches and RFP/RFI responses - Manage proposal materials and maintain data and metrics - Participate in submissions to directories and ranking authorities - Identify cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field - 5 years of professional services business development and/or marketing experience - Familiarity with core marketing principles and tools - Highly motivated and accountable - Strong writing skills and ability to tailor messages to different audiences - Business acumen and ability to identify opportunities - Excellent attention to detail - Strong presentation and communication skills - Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization - Project management skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Ability to make effective decisions and focus on client satisfaction
