## Business Attorney Law Firm is seeking to hire a full-time Associate Attorney to support its thriving Business Law Practice. The ideal candidate will graduate from law school in 2024, take the bar exam in summer 2024, and be ready to start full-time following the exam. Lateral candidates with prior business or transactional law experience will also be considered.
### Job Description
The Associate Attorney position is a full-time role based in York, PA. The successful candidate will work to support the Business Law Practice and will be expected to:
- Provide legal advice and counsel in the areas of entity selection and formation, business counseling, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and commercial finance. - Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements. - Work with clients to ensure that legal documents are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Research legal issues and provide legal advice to clients. - Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings as required.
### Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. - Must be admitted to the bar in 2024 or possess prior business or transactional law experience. - Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff.
