ROLE TITLE: BUSINESS ARCHITECT, ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
LOCATION: DUBLIN CITY CENTRE
This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
Will be part of a team that support's business and transformation leaders in making strategic design and investment decisions. They will assist in evolving the EA framework (principles, standards, roadmaps) and support our Master Design Authority.
The role, combines technical and business understanding with road mapping and planning competencies, involving big-picture thinking and the ability to visualise and articulate future state business models and supporting processes, capability, organisation and technology models.
The role holder will help guide the enterprise through transformation and optimization initiatives, tracking progress while communicating effectively with key stakeholders. They will also be accountable for the following:
*Documenting critical business architecture deliverables which includes the definition of user personas, context diagrams, capability maps, user stories, and business requirements *Participating in business requirements gathering sessions to interpret business needs and translate into Architecture backlog items *Collaborating with Business & Technology architects to define, develop and prioritize architecture improvements of the EA practice and rollout improvements *Collaborating with key business, industry experts to obtain feedback on information gathered to develop, refine, and finalise business architecture deliverables *Supporting the Master Design Authority and participate in project Design Authorities as appropriate to ensure that solution designs comply with the AIB enterprise architecture *Managing the maintenance of AIB's Architecture repository and ensure consistency with AIB's supporting IT & processes catalogues *To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate strong leadership and have an ability to deliver artefacts along with excellent communication skills. Ultimately, you should be well organized, a self-starter and be able to work under pressure.

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU CAN/HAVE:
*3 years' experience as a Business Architect OR 3 years' experience in any or more of Business Analysis, Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Process Modelling, Operating Model Design *Experience of designing and constructing business capabilities, value streams, business processes, and organizational structures *Knowledge of finance, accounting, valuation and metrics development. *Strong anticipatory, statistical and information analysis skills (a plus) *To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate strong leadership, communication and presentation skills. Ultimately, you should be well organized and able to work under pressure
