H2: Briefing Lawyer Position Available in Dallas, TX and Remote Locations

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and review case documents - Draft motions, responses, briefs, and memoranda for assigned trial team - Draft complex demand letters and affirmative motions - Attend trial as needed to draft trial briefs (travel required)
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school - Minimum of 2 years' experience at a civil law firm or 1 year in a judicial clerkship - Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills - Proficiency with Office 365 suite and contemporary technology in law practice - Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize assignments, and meet tight deadlines
Experience:
- Plaintiff personal injury experience preferred - Civil litigation experience required - Hiring experts and communicating with clients on a regular basis - Knowledge of Texas state and federal court laws - Experience in appellate work and writing/researching briefs and motions - Familiarity with Filevine preferred
Education/Certification:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school - Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Salary Information:
- Full-time position with competitive salary or 1099 contractor option - Remote work available anywhere in the US or in our Dallas office - Travel to Houston for meetings and cases occasionally required
