- Full-time position at a highly reputable law firm in California - Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually - Opportunity to work with a large and diverse client base - Collaborative and team-oriented culture - Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off
Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting tasks under the supervision of the Accounting Manager - Maintain client confidentiality and communicate effectively with clients - Make deposits, review financial transactions, and input data accurately - Reconcile bank and other accounts, and assist in closing financial records - Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records - Address inquiries from staff and clients regarding accounts receivable and collections - Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements: - 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a law firm setting - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel - Attention to detail and accuracy - Strong communication and math skills - Knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping principles - Experience with Surepoint/LMS system and Quickbooks a plus - Ability to balance large bank accounts and explain financial concepts to others
