Medler Ferro Woodhouse & Mills, an Intellectual Property boutique law firm, is actively seeking a Biotech or Molecular Biology Patent Technical Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in biotechnology, immunology, molecular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry or related field, and technical experience in biotechnology, immunology, molecular biology and/or biochemistry. Experience with cell and gene therapy technology, including CAR-T cells and gene editing, is particularly desirable.
Responsibilities
The position will work with partners and senior associates of the firm, specifically with domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, researching and drafting legal opinions for clients, and assisting with patent office litigation matters.

Qualifications
