## Biotech or Molecular Biology Patent Attorney
Law Firm is actively seeking a Biotech or Molecular Biology Patent Attorney or Patent Agent to join their growing team. The position requires a Ph.D. or Masters degree in biotechnology, cell or molecular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry or related field, and technical experience in biotechnology, molecular biology and/or biochemistry. Attorney candidates should have a JD from a top tier law-firm, and be admitted to one or more state bars, and all candidates should be admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house drafting patent applications and assisting with drafting of opinions, as well as performing freedom-to-operate patent searches and literature searches.
### Job Responsibilities
- Drafting patent applications and assisting with drafting of opinions - Performing freedom-to-operate patent searches and literature searches - Researching and drafting legal opinions for clients - Assisting with patent office litigation matters
### Job Requirements
- Ph.D. or Masters degree in biotechnology, cell or molecular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry or related field - Technical experience in biotechnology, molecular biology and/or biochemistry - JD from a top tier law-firm, and be admitted to one or more state bars - Admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office - 2 to 4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house
