POSITION OVERVIEW Due to continued growth, we are looking for someone to join the team as a Billing Clerk. As a member of a fast-paced team working with both operations and finance, the Billing Clerk will be responsible for entering employee timesheets and invoicing for our Residential contracts. A successful candidate will be someone that has a high attention to detail, self-starter that can handle multiple tasks at once and enjoys research and resolution of accounts receivable issues. This position is based at corporate office in Ancaster, Ontario, and reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
JOB DUTIES *Preparation of customer invoices on a weekly basis based on field execution. *Ability to meet the high paced volume of data entry while maintain accuracy. *Working with both operations and finance teams for accurate reporting.
*Reviewing accuracy of the work performed by operations to ensure accurate billing to the client with supporting documentation.
*Ensuring records and files are accurate. *Conduct Research and Resolution of Accounts Receivable issues. *Reconciliation work as required. *Cross training with another team member to provide back up support for different contracts. *Performing data searches; recording and analyzing results.
QUALIFICATIONS *Diploma in Accounting, Business or a related discipline is required. *Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel. *Strong attention to detail and highly organized. *Able to prioritize multiple demands. *Able to work independently and with little direction, following instructions accurately and completely.
