Kaufman Injury Law, a leading law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Bilingual Case Intake Specialist to join their team. Job Title: Bilingual Case Intake Specialist Location: Atlanta, GA Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, answering calls, emails, and web inquiries with empathy and clarity. - Conduct detailed intake interviews to determine if potential cases align with firm criteria, applying judgment to assess viability. - Use Litify for data entry and case tracking, ensuring accurate documentation of client information. - Provide bilingual support to ensure all prospective clients feel understood and at ease. - Send and follow up on DocuSign agreements for new clients, ensuring they understand the legal documents before signing. - Gather initial documents and organize case files in the firm’s case management software with accuracy. - Conduct preliminary case investigations using firm-provided software, gathering details from potential clients and external sources. - Work closely with paralegals and attorneys to ensure a smooth handoff once intake is complete. - Identify and refer out cases that do not fall under the firm's primary practice areas. - Be available for after-hours coverage on a rotating schedule to handle incoming inquiries and sign new clients. - Liaise with the Managing Attorney and Firm Operations Manager to ensure alignment between intake operations and firm objectives. - Provide regular updates on intake statistics and track performance to identify areas for improvement. - Collaborate with other departments to refine the intake process and improve efficiency and case acceptance rates.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual Required: Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish. - Excellent Communication Skills: Empathy, active listening, and clarity are essential. - Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks. - Ability to Take Feedback: Open to constructive criticism and adaptable to continuous improvement. - Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a client-facing role. - Previous intake or customer service experience in a law firm, healthcare, or hospitality setting is a plus. - Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using cloud-based case management systems, with proficiency in Litify or similar CRM platforms preferred. - Ability to Work Independently: Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
