Law Firm Seeking Experienced Business Development Manager in Charlotte, NC
Salary Information: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
Experience: 7-9 years in business development within a professional services environment
Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new client opportunities in key practice areas, industries, and markets - Track new business pipeline and follow up with lawyers - Prepare lawyers for new business meetings and provide coaching on identifying and leveraging opportunities - Collaborate with marketing team to align activities with business development priorities - Conduct training sessions for lawyers on business development tools and techniques - Lead development of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other client requests
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) - Proven leadership and project management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software - Regular in-person attendance required - Occasional travel may be required
Physical Requirements: - Sedentary work with occasional bending, squatting, and reaching - Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing - Use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of the legal sales process, business development coaching techniques, and strategic planning, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal and external clients.
