The McLario Firm is a 60-year-old law firm located in Menomonee Falls, WI serving Milwaukee and the surrounding communities. We are a Christian based organization that values our team and strives to serve our clients and the community. We are currently a firm of five attorneys working in estate planning, business planning, personal injury, family law, real estate, and criminal law. With upcoming retirements, The McLario Firm is looking to hire an experienced transactional, probate and guardianship attorney to join our team.
Job Overview
As an attorney at The McLario Firm, you will be responsible for meeting with clients in your office or virtually to discuss their matter, advising clients regarding ongoing litigation or to explain legal issues they might be facing or have concerns about, researching and interpreting case law and decisions handed down by other applicable courts, developing case strategies, preparing documents such as pleadings and contracts, and appearing in court before a judge or jury.
Qualifications
The ideal applicant for this position should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, be admitted to the State Bar, have 5 years experience in transactional, probate and guardianship law, the ability to handle a high case load, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong time management and organizational skills, detail-oriented, strong computer skills, a professional attitude, and strong personal ethics. Administrative and managerial experience is preferred.

Meeting with clients in your office or virtually to discuss their matter Advising clients regarding ongoing litigation or to explain legal issues they might be facing or have concerns about Researching the details and evidence involved in cases, such as police reports, accident reports, or pleadings previously filed in a case, as well as applicable law Interpreting case law and decisions handed down by other applicable courts Developing case strategies, such as trying to resolve cases early and cost-effectively for clients rather than go to trial Preparing pleadings and other documents, such as contracts, deeds, and wills Appearing in court before a judge or jury to orally defend a client’s rights and best interests
Qualifications
The ideal applicant for this position should have:
