Job Description:
As an attorney at Stange Law Firm, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
- Preparing and drafting legal documents for filing and correspondence.
- Drafting pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders.
- Corresponding with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases.
- Interviewing witnesses and preparing them to testify in court.
- Ensuring the accuracy of all documents prepared.
- Promptly appearing in court for assigned cases.
- Handling all aspects of assigned cases.
- Performing administrative duties such as filing, mailing, and organizing files and pleadings.
- Conducting legal research on specific issues.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Illinois law license.
- Previous family law experience preferred but not required.
- Senior Associate positions available for attorneys with 5 years of litigation experience.
