The law firm of Eckert Seamans is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Mass Tort Litigation team in Newark, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to work directly with partners and other associates on a variety of litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to communicate and interact directly with clients.
Qualifications: - Minimum of five years of experience in mass tort litigation - Strong background in asbestos litigation highly valued - Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills required - Must possess exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for success in this role - Competence and desire to independently manage a variety of active matters - Court and deposition experience preferred - Must be admitted to the New Jersey bar; admissions in other states, such as Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, New York, or Pennsylvania, will be given preference
