Responsibilities: - Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, protection from abuse, marital settlement agreements, dissolutions, and post-decree modifications. - Attend court conferences and hearings, representing clients in a professional manner. - Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, memorandums, and discovery demands and responses. - Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in family law. - Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys to develop effective legal strategies for clients. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethics in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and the court.
Requirements: - 3-7 years of experience practicing family law. - Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, with a NJ license as a plus. - Strong knowledge of family law and related legal procedures. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to handle a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively. - Commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
