Bowman and Brooke LLP, a nationally recognized defense litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Counsel Attorney to join our team in Coral Gables, FL. Our firm specializes in various types of defense litigation, with a strong focus on product liability and serving corporate clients, including Global 500 and internationally based companies.
Responsibilities:
• Handle civil litigation cases, with a preference for experience in general liability, premises liability, trucking, and maritime law • Work on high-exposure and technically intricate lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions • Be a part of a team of experienced trial lawyers who are Courtroom Tested and Verdict Vetted® • Take on significant responsibility and have immediate involvement in litigation matters
Requirements:
• JD from an accredited law school • Current admission to the Florida Bar • 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, product liability, and trucking • Strong writing and analytical skills • Experience with large scale motions • Trial experience, preferred • Understanding of current state and federal procedures • Excellent written and oral communication skills
