Job Description: The Associate Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal counsel to the product teams at Adobe that develop and market the Creative Cloud, with a focus on the Photoshop and Lightroom products. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be based in San Jose, San Francisco, Seattle, or New York, and work closely with product management, engineering, business strategy, and marketing teams to provide legal advice and manage risk.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Adobe business teams to ensure legal compliance and provide practical advice on products and initiatives - Draft and negotiate various technology licensing agreements - Support and build positive relationships with product development teams - Coordinate with subject matter leads in Adobe's Legal Department - Develop and deliver materials and trainings to internal groups
Qualifications: - 6 years of relevant legal experience in software and online services industry - Proficient in negotiating and drafting intellectual property agreements - Expertise in privacy and data security compliance - Technical background or strong interest in software products and development - Flexible, business-friendly collaborator with a sense of humor - Effective communication skills - Commitment to providing high quality and timely legal advice - Flexibility to work with colleagues in different time zones - Ability to exercise common sense and creative problem solving
