Responsibilities: - Manage a litigation caseload, including probate, title curative, wrongful foreclosure, title disputes, and eviction matters - Represent clients in court hearings and perform discovery - Provide legal advice and research applicable statutes and case law - Prepare and review documents for accuracy, including court filings and correspondence - Resolve title issues and complete necessary curative actions - Adhere to investor guidelines and comply with state and federal requirements
Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Active membership in good standing with State Bar of Tennessee (additional state licensure preferred) - Minimum of 3 years experience practicing law with focus on finance, real estate, or representation of financial institutions - Experience in real estate, mortgage, and/or commercial litigation strongly preferred - Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and debt collection and real property law - Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively - Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written - Ability to travel as needed
