Job Title: Associate Litigation Attorney

Experience: Minimum of 3 years practicing law with a focus on finance, real estate, or representation of financial institutions in real estate related matters with court room experience preferred.
Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain knowledge of state and federal laws and civil procedure. • Handle a litigation caseload, including probate, title curative, wrongful foreclosure, title disputes, eviction matters, and tax issues. • Attend court hearings and perform discovery. • Respond to disputes and comply with state and federal requirements. • Prepare and review legal documents. • Resolve title issues and complete necessary curative actions. • Provide legal advice and research applicable statutes and case law.
Skills/Abilities: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. • Experience in real estate, mortgage and/or commercial litigation preferred. • Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and other debt collection and real property laws. • Exceptional communication skills. • Ability to travel as needed. • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills. • Proficiency in legal research and writing. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
