Job Description
As an Associate Litigation Attorney at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** in Charlotte, NC, you will play a critical role in advocating for our clients and helping them seek justice for their personal injury cases. With a minimum of five years of experience in personal injury litigation and an active membership in the NC Bar Association, you will bring valuable knowledge and skills to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze evidence, including medical records and investigative findings, to build strong cases for our clients - Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather crucial information - Consult with field experts and conduct research on statutes and case law to develop effective strategies for our clients - Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings - Work closely with Senior Leadership to determine the best course of action for each case - Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management meetings as needed - Utilize mediation, arbitration, and trial to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients - Act as a mentor to junior attorneys, sharing your knowledge and experience - Participate in marketing initiatives to promote our firm, such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaigns
Qualifications:
- Active membership in the NC Bar Association is required - Five or more years of experience in personal injury litigation is preferred - Strong writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking skills are necessary - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are required - Intermediate to advanced computer skills are necessary - Experience with Needles Neos Case Management Software is a plus
Compensation:
This is a full-time, salary exempt position with an annual base salary plus commission, dependent on experience.
