About the Role:
- As an Associate Legal Counsel, you will support **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***' Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) vertical. - You will negotiate contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, and NDAs. - This role requires expertise in healthcare transactions and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft contracts with HLS customers, ensuring compliance with privacy, data security, and regulatory requirements. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue-generating transactions while mitigating risks. - Streamline contracting processes and improve workflows to support high-scale transactions. - Advise on legal and business risks and become a subject matter expert in customer transactions within the HLS vertical. - Support strategic initiatives and OKRs, including contract management improvements and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent. - 5 years of contract negotiation experience in SaaS and healthcare/life sciences at a high-growth technology company. - In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, and healthcare regulations and related contracting tactics. - Process-oriented mindset with experience in improving contracting workflows. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and external counsel.
Salary Information:
- Pay range for this role is $116,300-$178,300 USD. - Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and location. - Total compensation package may also include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
