Associate Legal Counsel, Employment – Full-Time or Hybrid Position

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to our Employee Experience team, HR Business Partners, and the business on a wide range of employment issues across AMER (currently Canada, U.S., Mexico, and Brazil) - Collaborate with other lawyers on the team to provide guidance and counseling to HR and other cross-functional partners - Manage employment-related projects, such as internal process reviews, new policy roll-outs, and training programs - Draft and edit employment-related documents, correspondence, agreements, processes, and policies - Manage legal risks and provide solutions for resolving employment disputes - Support and provide strategic advice on employment litigation matters - Participate in the creation and delivery of training related to employment law matters - Stay up to date with legislative changes and other developments in employment law and advise stakeholders accordingly - Build and maintain relationships with external counsel
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S. employment law, with experience in Canada and/or LATAM as a plus - Proven track record of success at a top law firm (prior in-house experience not required) - Smart, passionate, and driven - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and overcome challenges - Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities - Experience managing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously
Benefits:
