Associate General Counsel – State Regulatory: Join HCSC, the largest customer-owned health insurer in the US, as an Associate General Counsel to provide legal guidance on state regulatory matters outside of HCSC's five core states. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $140,300.00 - $260,600.00 and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities: As an Associate General Counsel, you will partner with business leaders to provide sound legal advice on regulatory and operational matters. You will also be responsible for advancing HCSC's goal of expanding access to quality healthcare.
Location: The position can be based in Chicago, Illinois; Richardson, Texas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Helena, Montana, Nashville, Tennessee, or Washington, D.C. Please note that this is a hybrid role with in-office hours required three days a week at the respective office location.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have a Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law in the state where the position is located. You should also have at least 8 years of experience as an attorney with a strong understanding of the healthcare or insurance field.
Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of recent experience in health care insurance state regulatory law is preferred, along with experience in Medicare Supplement regulatory issues. Strong business collaboration and writing skills are also desirable.
