Levy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced legal professional to join our team as an Associate General Counsel/Senior Corporate Counsel. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating and drafting commercial contracts and management agreements with Levy's key business partners, as well as overseeing new business RFPs and managing contracting for outside vendors. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial contracts and general corporate law to join a dynamic and innovative company in the hospitality industry.
As an Associate General Counsel/Senior Corporate Counsel at Levy, you will have the opportunity to:
- Negotiate and draft commercial contracts and management agreements on behalf of Levy - Advise on all types of contracts, including those related to outside vendors, subcontractors, and licensees - Ensure compliance with Levy policies and oversee contracting compliance for outside vendors - Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within your areas of responsibility - Independently handle legal matters and projects - Provide sound legal advice to business leadership and internal clients - Serve as a partner to location management - Ensure adherence to time-sensitive deadlines
Requirements:
- 7 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house position - Strong background in commercial contracts and general corporate law - Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions - Familiarity with the hospitality/food service industry is a plus - J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership - Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills - Strong critical reasoning and analytical skills - Ability to effectively communicate conclusions to business management - Self-starter with the ability to identify and analyze diverse contractual issues - Experience with RFPs is a plus
