Overview: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is seeking an experienced attorney to lead its Real Estate, Commercial, and Franchising practice group. This is a full-time position located in San Francisco, CA; Dallas, TX; Independence, OH; or Overland Park, KS. The successful candidate will manage all legal aspects of the Company’s real estate and construction, commercial, and franchise operations across the country. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership role at a company featuring some of the most recognizable and beloved brands in the nation.
Responsibilities: • Review, draft, and negotiate various real estate agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, and easements. • Manage eminent domain actions and conduct due diligence for property acquisitions. • Provide legal advice on real estate, development, and corporate matters. • Oversee and improve processes related to Franchise and Development Agreements. • Develop and implement strategies for commercial contract practices. • Supervise and develop internal team members. • Provide regular reports on practice areas and manage outside counsel and budget.
Requirements: • 12 years of real estate experience in a law firm and/or as an in-house attorney. • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and member in good standing of at least one state bar. • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to handle multiple objectives. • Excellent communication skills and dedication to exceptional client service. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with legal staff and business clients. • Positive attitude and passion for the legal profession.
