About the Role
Astera Labs is seeking a highly skilled Associate General Counsel, Commercial and Product to join our legal team. This role involves supporting the sales and product marketing teams by drafting and negotiating agreements, providing legal advice on contract terms and compliance matters, and collaborating with other members of the legal department to develop internal policies related to product development, marketing, and sales.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate General Counsel, Commercial and Product, you will:
Provide solution-oriented legal support and counsel for business and engineering teams Draft, negotiate, and advise on a variety of agreements Counsel on contract terms, compliance matters, and dispute resolution Collaborate with other members of the legal department to develop and refine internal policies
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) Active membership in at least one US state bar 10 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney Expertise in technology transactions, intellectual property law, and software licensing Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills Excellent drafting and communication skills
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position is $230,000.00 USD – $280,000.00 USD, and your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
