Law firm **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development for their litigation and employment practice groups. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic revenue enhancement and client development plans, managing the workflow and performance of the Business Development team, and identifying opportunities for new business and cross-selling. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of related work experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The position offers a competitive total rewards package with a target salary range of $200,000 - $250,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic revenue enhancement and client development plans for the litigation and employment practice groups - Manage the workflow and performance of the Business Development team members, providing ongoing feedback and participating in performance evaluations - Identify and analyze opportunities for new business, client growth, and cross-selling - Manage lateral partner integration programs and track progress for practice group leaders - Analyze and report on profitability of business development initiatives - Establish and implement firm-wide standard operating procedures - Oversee strategic pursuits for the litigation and employment practice groups - Monitor client and industry trends - Collaborate with other practice-aligned BD team members on cross-sell pursuits - Develop network of relevant industry contacts - Oversee the execution of and commercialization efforts for signature practice group events - Review standard pitch content and collateral for designated practice group(s) - Consult with partners to develop and monitor individual business development goals and plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree - At least 10 years of related work experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and client relationship management (CRM) software - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills - Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle confidential information - Ability to travel and work flexible hours - Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative
Salary Information:
- Target salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 - Final salary offer may vary based on market location, knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location - Full-time positions eligible for discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package
