Experience: - Master's degree and Juris Doctor required - Licensed attorney with 2-5 years of experience, preferably in the engineering industry - Knowledgeable in contract and subcontract review, drafting, and negotiation - Experience in responding to subpoenas a plus
Responsibilities: - Assist with negotiating and interpreting client contracts - Draft and negotiate subcontracts in the best interest of the company - Provide legal counsel and advice to corporate departments and staff - Keep standard contracts current and draft new contracts as needed - Identify and analyze new legislation and regulations to protect the company - Assist with resolving legal disputes and claims - Mitigate risk through contract negotiation and risk management training - Maintain the company's standard subcontracting process - Respond to subpoenas in a timely manner - Lead internal training on subcontracts and standard templates - Actively involved in client contract negotiations - Draft and review company processes and policies
Salary: - $135,000 - $155,000 annually - Actual compensation based on education, experience, and market conditions - Eligible for company's discretionary bonus program - Potential for sign-on bonus
