The Associate Contract Specialist - Procurement is a crucial role within the Charter Business Units (BU) as it provides centralized contract support and management for the company. This position is responsible for managing the contract request intake process, organizing and documenting work electronically, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, as well as experience in contract administration and project management.
Salary Information: - Base pay for this position is generally between $55,600.00 and $88,600.00 - Actual compensation offered will be carefully considered and may include additional forms of incentive-based compensation such as bonuses - Local wage minimums will be adhered to

Key Responsibilities: - Manage contract request intake process and supporting tools - Organize and document work electronically through use of contract status log and electronic filing system - Assist with management of Ariba Contract Workspace through all stages - Execute and distribute routine reports for team - Provide ongoing contract management support and ensure compliance with contractual requirements - Review and analyze contracts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure goals are met - Maintain working relationships with customers - Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure contracts' compliance with company standards - Assist Central Contracts team with administrative tasks - Participate in project teams or special project assignments
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience in contract administration and project management - Ability to read, write, speak and understand English - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to prioritize and organize effectively - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Windows suite of office tools
Preferred Qualifications: - Education in Law or Supply Chain Management - Contract/legal/paralegal experience - Familiarity with Strategic Sourcing process - Experience working with Legal, Finance, and other inter-related departments
