Law Firm Seeks Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation
Law Firm is seeking an experienced and hard-working Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience as an attorney working in civil litigation. This is a full-time position located in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities:
Utilize analytical skills to conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters Perform necessary legal research using all available resources Draft necessary documents to provide legal representation for clients and work with senior attorneys to produce final documents Formulate and issue well-founded legal opinions Effectively conduct negotiations, when appropriate, to resolve matters on behalf of clients Maintain positive contact with clients and observe confidentiality at all times Advise and communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their matter Have the ability to travel to private and public buildings locally and statewide via private or public transportation to attend to client needs on legal matters Work more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position
Requirements:
JD from Accredited Law School Iowa Bar License (Required) 1-3 years of experience as an attorney working in civil litigation Ability to commute/relocate to West Des Moines, Iowa
