Associate Attorney - Estate Planning and Real Estate & Land Use Salary: Competitive (DOE) Job Type: Full-time Experience: 0-5 years
The law firm, Saalfeld Griggs Business Lawyers, is currently seeking Associate Attorneys for their Estate Planning and Real Estate & Land Use practice groups. These positions are available at their Salem location and they are also open to well-qualified 2024 J.D. candidates. The firm has a collegial atmosphere and offers a competitive salary, benefits, and potential for additional bonus compensation.
Requirements: - Graduating or experienced attorneys with 0-5 years of experience in the practice of law - Strong communication skills, both oral and written - Attention to detail - Ability to organize and prioritize tasks - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Top one-third of class preferred - Law Review and/or trial competition experience a plus
Practicing Law at Saalfeld Griggs: - Working closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, and successful companies to help them achieve their goals - Focusing on legal challenges faced by businesses and their owners - Specialized practice areas with a depth of expertise typically found in larger firms - Close client relationships and a collegial atmosphere - Team-oriented environment with significant client contact from the beginning
Practice Groups: - Estate Planning & Probate: preparing trusts and estate plans, advising trustees and personal representatives, charitable planning, tax matters, and specialized irrevocable trust planning - Real Estate & Land Use: drafting and negotiating commercial and real estate transactional documents, resolving disputes, obtaining land use entitlements, and handling appeals
