Wilner & O’Reilly, APLC, a highly respected and internationally recognized U.S. immigration law firm, is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Associate Attorney to join our team in our Sacramento office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience and further their career with an established firm in the Sacramento area. Key Responsibilities:
- Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments - Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions - Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases - Correspond and/or meet with clients to gather documents and information and guide them through various visa processes - Use case management system/database, various firm systems, and project management skills to monitor case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet both legal and client-relations deadlines - Exercise meticulous attention to detail to produce error-free forms, correspondence, and related legal work product - Prepare and represent clients at government interviews - Other tasks as required to meet client, Managing Attorney, and firm needs
- Bilingual in Spanish is required - Completion of a Juris Doctorate program at an accredited U.S. Law School and admission to a U.S. state bar - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Excellent writing skills - Minimum of one year of Immigration Law Experience: EOIR preferred
