Job Description
The Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in O’Fallon, IL. This is a full-time position with a minimum of three years of experience in general litigation, complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability. The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of Illinois, Missouri, and/or New York.
We are looking for a motivated and independent individual who is capable of managing a litigation caseload and has experience with motion practice and depositions. The Associate Attorney will handle local and national accounts throughout Illinois, Missouri, and New York and will be responsible for conducting depositions, preparing witnesses for trial, and reviewing and analyzing discovery requests. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers and clients on challenging cases in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Independently manage a litigation caseload - Conduct depositions - Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial - Review and analyze discovery requests - Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings - Prepare court filings and service to counsel - Trial preparation and support - Maintain accurate time records
Candidate Requirements: - Juris Doctor from an accredited law school - Must be admitted to practice in the state of Illinois, Missouri, and/or New York - A minimum of three (3) years of experience in general litigation, complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability - Experience with motion practice and depositions - Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions - Capable of independent work - Superior research and writing skills - Ability to multi-task - Ability to analyze complex matters
