Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Litigation Department in Clackamas Office
Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Are you a motivated and organized attorney with a strong background in litigation? Zwicker & Associates P.C., a national creditor rights law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in our Clackamas office. Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with team members and outside parties - Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery - Review litigation case files and determine appropriate action - Advocate for client's interests in various litigation settings - Utilize internal software to update and document account statuses - Analyze and process litigation inventory reports - Comply with all client and firm procedures - Ability to travel to courtrooms within the office's jurisdiction - Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Admission to practice law in Washington state - Strong organizational and time management skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn - Ability to manage a large caseload
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to waive into ID, OR & AK - Minimum of one year of litigation/trial experience - Working knowledge of civil procedure - Debt collection experience - Prior experience in a high volume environment
Physical Qualifications:
- Able to lift five pounds or greater - Able to sit for extended periods of time - Able to bend and move as needed - Able to read and comprehend documents - Able to communicate effectively - Able to travel occasionally - Able to operate a computer or phone - Able to work a flexible 40-hour schedule
