Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on title insurance, real estate disputes, mortgage and loan workouts, foreclosures, and other collection matters - Conduct legal research and analysis - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs - Communicate with clients and opposing counsel - Represent clients in court and at mediation
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school - Licensed to practice law in Illinois, dual licensure in Indiana preferred - Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in title insurance, real estate disputes, mortgage and loan workouts, foreclosures, or other collection matters - Excellent academic record - Strong research, writing, and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Self-motivated, organized, articulate, and persuasive
