Litchfield Cavo LLP, a premier insurance coverage and litigation defense law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney in Cherry Hill, NJ. Responsibilities: - Manage a substantial caseload of litigation - Draft pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda - Conduct legal research and prepare written discovery and dispositive motions - Take depositions of parties and experts - Review client documents and draft case evaluations and status report correspondence - Assist with and participate in mediations and court appearances
Requirements: - Minimum four years' experience in defense of civil litigation - Experience in Insurance Defense, employment, banking, intellectual property, and construction litigation is a plus - Licensed to practice in New Jersey state and federal courts, additional state admissions is a plus - Strong legal research and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills - Knowledge of state and federal court procedures
