The Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our Litigation Practice Team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in communication, legal advocacy, and writing, as well as prior experience in one or more of the following focus areas: complex business litigation, corporate dissolutions, environmental, labor and employment, consumer finance, appellate practice, government affairs and white collar, real estate, family law, and construction disputes. The selected attorney must be a self-starter and will have the opportunity for direct client contact.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in state, federal, and appellate courts as well as before governmental and administrative boards, agencies, and commissions. - Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appeals. - Conduct legal research and analysis. - Communicate with clients and provide legal advice and counsel. - Attend hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. - Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on cases.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience as an attorney. - Florida Bar license required. - Strong skills in communication, legal advocacy, and writing. - Prior experience in one or more of the focus areas preferred. - Excellent academic credentials. - Self-starter with the ability to work independently. - Book of business preferred.
