Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Civil Litigation Practice
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned cases through various phases of litigation - Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs - Appear before state and federal courts - Conduct depositions and develop evidence for trial - Communicate case updates to managing attorney and clients - Develop strategies for various types of litigated matters
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability defense, or construction defect litigation - Strong research and writing skills - Experience with trial and deposition, legal writing, and legal research - Licensed to practice law in North Carolina

As an Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases and develop your skills in trial and deposition, legal writing, and research. Responsibilities of this role include managing assigned cases through all phases of litigation, appearing before state and federal courts, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and communicating with clients and the managing attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability defense, or construction defect litigation, as well as strong research and writing skills. A bar license in the state of North Carolina is required for this position.
