Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Automotive/General Litigation in New Jersey
Segal McCambridge, a national law firm with offices across the country, is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation and a current, active license to practice law in New Jersey. Dual licensure in New York or Pennsylvania is preferred.
As an associate attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced partners on a variety of automotive and general litigation cases, including personal injury, premises liability, and coverage litigation. You will also have the chance to second chair trials and develop your trial skills while working in a collaborative, collegial environment.
Requirements:
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey - Dual licensure in NY or PA preferred - Minimum of 2 years' experience in civil litigation - Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills - Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents - Participate in trial activities, including attending hearings, depositions, and mediations - Investigate facts and engage with experts - Work collaboratively with partners and other team members
