Summary: Segal McCambridge, a national law firm, is seeking an associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation for its New Jersey office. The position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of automotive and general litigation cases with experienced partners, while also providing autonomy and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a current New Jersey law license, with dual licensure preferred, and strong legal research and writing skills. Responsibilities: - Work with experienced partners on a variety of automotive and general litigation cases - Handle entire case files with autonomy - Participate in trial activities and second chair trials - Conduct legal research and prepare litigation documents - Investigate facts and engage with experts - Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Requirements: - Current, active license to practice law in New Jersey - Dual licensure preferred (NY or PA) - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil litigation - Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills - Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines - Strong interpersonal and presentation skills - Proven ability to produce top quality work - Experience in federal court and alternative dispute resolution preferred, but not required
