Job Title: Associate Attorney (Litigation)
Experience: At least 1 year of in-court litigation and deposition-handling experience preferred
Location: Glendale, California
Department: Labor and Employment Law
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

- Handle wage and hour class/PAGA actions from inception through conclusion
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Attend court hearings and trials
- Assist in client meetings and consultations
- Manage caseloads and ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar license, with no disciplinary history
- At least 1 year of in-court litigation and deposition-handling experience preferred
- Working knowledge of law and motion briefing and argument
- Experience in plaintiff or defense side employment law, wage & hour, and class/PAGA actions is a plus
- Superior oral advocacy skills and confidence
- Great analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, honesty, dependability, computer savvy, and multi-tasking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email / Calendar, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, and other Litigation Software
- Fluency in English (spoken & written), Spanish is a plus
