Responsibilities: - Prepare and handle trials, including discovery preparation and compliance - Interview and prepare witnesses and victims - Work with police and expert witnesses - Review cases for viability and make sentencing recommendations - Obtain evidence from Baltimore Police Department for trial - Handle pre-trial motions and conduct examinations and statements - Engage in case reviews and attend trainings and presentations - Represent the State in court proceedings
Requirements: - Juris Doctor degree and license to practice law in Maryland - Highly organized and able to work in a high pressure environment - Team player with strong communication skills
