Hub Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our Corporate Legal team in Oak Brook, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of commercial and corporate law experience, with a JD from an accredited US law school and a license to practice in Illinois or another state. This position will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting M&A projects, tracking legal developments, providing business counseling, and maintaining client relationships.

Salary Range: $190,000 - $215,000/year
Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate contracts for Hub Group, including customer and supplier agreements Support Deputy General Counsel on M&A projects, SEC reporting, and corporate governance requirements Track and implement commercial and corporate law developments applicable to Hub Group Provide business counseling to Hub Group's businesses Develop and maintain client relationships
Minimum Requirements:
JD from an accredited US law school Licensed in the state of Illinois (or other state) and a member in good standing At least 6 years of commercial and corporate experience Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and corporate law Experience in the transportation sector a plus
