Position Summary: The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***'s Office is seeking a full-time Assistant District Attorney to join their team. This position is in the unclassified service and is open to attorneys who are currently employed by the State of Wisconsin or who have previously served as a Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney within the last five years.
Salary Information: The starting hourly rate for this position is $36.72 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $55.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Attorneys currently employed by the State of Wisconsin may be able to transfer at their current pay rate, while those who have recently served as a Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney may be able to be hired at a higher wage rate.
Job Details: The selected candidate must be admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin in order to be hired for this position. The Assistant District Attorney will be responsible for prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of Kenosha County, with a focus on protecting the community and seeking justice for victims of crime.
